General Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Aim

JumpFlight connects you with travellers around the world who want to sell or buy flights. Users of this portal can post and search for flight tickets and contact other users for flight exchange.


2. Registration

For offering flight tickets and contacting other users, a registration is required. The registration ist free of charge. All users completing the registration process must provide us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the registration process. We have the right to refuse to grant you an account at our sole discretion. Regardless of whether you register, you agree to the terms of this agreement and are responsible for your posted flights.

3. Post a flight

3.1 In General

The User undertakes to post only reliable data and is responsible for truthful and accurate information. The User must check and assure the legality of the information, data, content and other material and shall assume sole responsibility for accuracy and the legality of the information/data made available for publication. The User has to deactivate his advertisment immediately in case the offer doesn't exist anymore. Furthermore the User is obliged to post only own flights or flight for which powers is delegated to him.

Insofar as third parties, including organs of the state (e.g. prosecuting authorities), assert claims against Jumpflight as a result of the posted information/data respectively advertisment by the User, the User undertakes to exempt Jumpflight fully from these claims (in the amount of the ordered fine or pecuniary penalty ordered in the case of infringement of public regulations) and from the reasonable costs of a legal dispute and legal defence (including costs of legal advice and representation). Jumpflight undertakes not to acknowledge third-party claims of this kind without the User's consent and not to reach any settlement on the matter in question with the third party.

Jumpflight may delete posted information/data respectively advertisements if they violate the rights of third parties.

3.2 Basic offer

The basic offer is free of charge. After being entered to Jumpflight's database the offer can be found on www.jumpflight.com e.g. by using search functions. The User can change, cancel or deactivate his offer at any time. He is not obliged to answer, if an interested user contacts him. If the User does not deactivate before, the offer is deactivated by the system once the date of the offered flight lies in the past.

3.3 PREMIUM offer

The PREMIUM offer is NOT free of charge. Based on the basic offer, a PREMIUM offer will be posted on Jumpflights' Facebook and Twitter sites. Furthermore a PREMIUM offer will be placed temporarily on the starting page of Jumpflight - depending on the native airport of the offer on our german, english, spanish or french starting page. The offer doesn't has to be published permanently during the booking period, but only in a rotating way. The User can change, cancel or deactivate his offer at any time. He is not obliged to answer, if an interested user contacts him. If the User does not deactivate before, the offer is deactivated by the system once the date of the offered flight lies in the past.

- booking period - one week: starting page, once on Facebook and Twitter: 7,99 Euro (incl. VAT)

- booking period - three weeks: starting page, twice on Facebook and Twitter: 12,99 Euro (incl. VAT)

Invoice will be send to client. PREMIUM offer will be published after payment has arrived on banking account of Jumpflight.

4. Privacy Policy

The information collected here is strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of selling and buying flight tickets. We do not share data or sell mailing lists. By submitting flight offers you are consenting to share your first and last name with potential buyers. The information collected during user registration will appear only in your profile and will not be visible for other users.

5. Liability

JumpFlight is not a travel agency and does not sell flights. This platform does not intend to be a service of any sort, it is merely a method by which individuals may initiate contact with each other. Users are advised that no checks whatsoever are made against anyone joining the facility either offering or buying flight tickets. Therefore, users should be cautios and make sure that the person or persons that they are arranging a transaction with are reliable. JumpFlight takes no responsibility for any personal or financial consequences, which result from the use of this site. We simply provide a "virtual bill-board" which allows you to submit offers, search for flights and contact other users for exhanging flights.

6. Malpractice

This site may not be used to post or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material of any kind. JumpFlight reserves the right to remove any user, which violates these guidelines. Users observing malpractice on our platform are requested to contact us per email.

7. Tax Refund Service

7.1 The offer of JumpFlight to reclaim taxes and fees for not used flight tickets is not binding. By filling out the required fields for the refund of airport taxes and fees respectively by posting a flight the User submits a binding offer to conclude a contract. By that you instruct JumpFlight to contact the airline or your travel agent in order to reclaim taxes and fees for your flight and to act as a substitute for you and to transmit the necessary data to the airline/travel agent.

7.2 Prerequisite for this service is that User has provided correct name and booking number. Furthermore flight doesn't have to be canceled or resold or used.

7.3 Tax Refund is directly refunded by the airline respectively the travel agent to the User. JumpFlight charges a fee for the refund service 15% of the reimbursement including german VAT, at least however 12 Euros (including VAT).

7.4 However, the fee mentioned in 7.3 is paid only in case of a refund, JumpFlight works purely performance-based.

7.5 The User is obliged to inform Jumpflight unsolicited and instantaneously after recieving the Refund from the airline respectively the travel agent about the amount refunded. Jumpflight is entitled to ask the User for suitable documents in order to verify the information recieved by the User. Besides the User entitles Jumpflight to ask for these information directly the airline respectively the travel agent. These information are necessary to charge the Jumpflight service fee as described in 7.3.

7.6 At no time there results a claim for the User against Jumpflight.

7.7 Jumpflight is not obliged to take legal steps to enforce possible legal claims of the User.

7.8 Jumpflight is entitled to stop his efforts at any time without stating reasons. In this case no fees apply to the User.

7.9 A legal advice is not provided by JumpFlight.

8. Revocation

Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB, so a natural person on completion of a legal transaction for a purpose that is neither a commercial nor a professional his occupation may be assigned, are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal:

You can revoke your contract explanation within one month without giving reasons in writing (eg letter, fax, e-mail). The period begins earliest, the day after receipt of this notification in writing, but not prior to closing and not CREWS before fulfillment of information obligations § 312c Section 2 BGB in conjunction with § 1 Sections 1, 2 and 4 BGB-Order and the obligations ACCORDING TO § 312e paragraph 1 sentence 1 in conjunction with § 3 BGB-InfoV. The revocation period suffices to send the revocation. The revocation must be sent to:

In the case of an effective withdrawal, the mutually received benefits and any benefits (eg interest) surrendered. If you are unable to return the goods or services wholly or partly or only in deteriorated condition, you must, if necessary value .The period begins for you when you send the revocation, for us upon receipt.

Your right of cancellation expires prematurely, if the contract has been fulfilled by both parties at your request completely before you have exercised your right of cancellation.

9. Exclusion of postings from Irland and UK

In Ireland and UK, only authorized airlines and agents may sell tickets for air travel. Thus, JumpFlight does not accept any registrations or postings from these countries.

10. Applicable law

The laws of Germany shall be applied to the use of this website and/or the subsites. Users of JumpFlight.com irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Stuttgart District Court in all disputes, controversies or differences arising out of and/or relating to this website and/or the subsites.
